Newlands take recycling seriously. On each site unusable metals, plastics, cardboard and batteries are carefully separated and recycled.
Any revenue Newlands receives in return for recycling is largely used to sponsor and support community initiatives, sporting teams and events. Please see our SPONSORSHIP page for a detailed list.
DRIVING GREEN
At Newlands Ashburton branch the courtesy car is a modern electric vehicle. Customers enjoy the experience of using the vehicle while Newlands proudly make a move towards less emissions and fuel usage.
